"Art Through the Ages" Exhibit at Fort Miles Museum

Mar 19, 2023

Come see “Art Through the Ages” by celebrated artist and Lewes’ own Howard Schroeder. Howard S. Schroeder was stationed at Fort Miles in Lewes, Delaware during World War II, and lived much of his life in the area. This exhibit features over 40 works and celebrates Howard’s art - an amazing collection paying homage to coastal Delaware, especially Lewes, throughout much of the 20th century.

Saturday March 18 (12-4), Sunday March 19 (1-4), Saturday March 25 (12-4) and Sunday March 26 (1-4).

$5 fee to view the exhibit, which includes admission to the Howard Schroeder Gallery, as well as touring the Fort Miles Museum and Historical Area.

John Schroeder will talk about his father's life and art on March 19 and 26 at noon. The entrance fee includes the lecture but please RVSP at info@fortmilesmuseum.org if you plan to attend the talk.
