Banshees of Inisherin

The Banshees of Inisherin is an intense dark tragicomedy film written and directed by acclaimed British Director Martin McDonagh (In Bruges, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) that follows lifelong buddies who find themselves at an impasse. Set on a remote island off the coast of Ireland, Pádraic (Colin Farell) is devastated when his long-time friend Colm (Brendan Gleeson) suddenly puts an end to their friendship. With help from his sister and a troubled young islander, Pádraic sets out to repair the damaged relationship by any means necessary. However, as Colm's resolve only strengthens, he soon delivers an ultimatum that leads to shocking consequences.
