For those o f\nyou that haven't heard the Pumpkin' Chuckin' is a feat of strength\ncom petition where competitors are challenged with trying to throw\ntheir pump kin the farthest. It's our way of keeping the tradition of\npumpkins flyin g in Sussex County!\n\nSpectators:\nThe event is Free to Attend! Watch as contestants battle to see who\ncan chuck their pumpkin the farthest. The b est part is seeing the\ntechniques different comepetitors use to chuck the ir pumpkin. They\ndon't all go according to plan making for some truly hil arious moments\nthat we hope you will capture on film! Enjoy delicious bee r\,\ncocktails\, & food from Taco Reho. Our friends from Crooked Hammock\n Brewery will be setup with a beer tent out back serving up their local\ncr aft beer. Bring your chair and line up down the sidelines for a\ntruly unf orgettable experience!\n\nHow to Enter:\nPreregistration is required. Must be 21 or older to compete!\nRegistration is $25 per competitor and includ es a limited edition\nt-shirt! $20 from each registration will be donated to benefit Autism\nDelaware.\n\nCompetitors will have to throw a 15-18lb p umpkin from a 6'x6' throwing\narea. Throws will be measured from where the y first hit the ground.\nCompetitors will each throw 2 times with the tota l distance from both\nthrows being added together.
