Film at CAT - The Climb

“The Climb” is a wonderful comedy-drama that is a shrewd portrayal of male companionship. A story of a tumultuous but enduring camaraderie between two men across many years of laughter, heartbreak and rage. It is based on real-life best friends Mike and Kyle who share a love of biking and almost have a collapse of friendship after Mike sleeps with Kyle’s fiancé. They turn their profound connection into a rich, humane and frequently uproarious film about the boundaries in all close relationships.  [2020, USA, 98 min, Rated: R]. Venue: Cinema Art Theater.
