History Hike: The Pinelands - Delaware State Parks

Join us for an engaging historical hiking experience in Delaware State Parks as we explore two unique trails. First, take a History Hike through the Pinelands, where you'll discover the distant elements of Fort Miles on a trail suitable for ages 7 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult). Tours meet at the Pinelands trailhead, with online registration required 24 hours in advance, costing $6 per person.
Next, venture into the past with the History & Ruins hike at Rockland Mills. Starting at the Thompson’s Bridge Parking lot, this hike will guide you through the historic significance of the Brandywine River and the old Rockland Mills site, highlighting its role during the Industrial Revolution. Pre-registration is also necessary for this hike, with a fee of $6 per person and park entrance fees applicable. Enjoy a day of history and exploration in Delaware’s natural beauty!
