DESCRIPTION:Art has the power to bring us together and highlight our shared
 \nhumanity. As part of the celebration of Black History Month\, CAMP\nReho
 both is hosting “Ignite the Light\,” a six-week group art show\nthat e
 xtends from January 18 through February 28\, 2023\, with a\nreception on S
 aturday\, January 21\, 2023\, from 2 to 4 p.m. In this\nexhibition\, artis
 ts of color share how they have awakened their inner\npower to create art 
 that inspires and enlightens. “Ignite the\nLight” is a juried exhibiti
 on\, with Lori Crawford\, Associate\nProfessor of Art at Delaware State Un
 iversity\, serving as the juror.\nShe was awarded a Delaware Division of t
 he Arts Individual Artist\nFellowship in 2008 and has exhibited in many mu
 seums and galleries.\nThirteen artists were selected by Crawford\, with ea
 ch artist sharing\ntheir unique perspectives. The 30 works on display incl
 ude a variety\nof media - oil and acrylic paintings\, digital art\, mixed 
 media\, and\nfabric art in the form of quilts depicting aspects of Black l
 ife and\nculture.    The artists who are part of “Ignite the Light” 
 are\nBryant T. Bell\, Jefiah Bordley\, Valerie Brooks\, Sheila Exum\, Kiar
 a\nFlorez\, Taylor Gordon\, Kayla Johnson\, Gemma Lockhart\, Ann Martin\,\
 nEbube Maduka-Ugwu\, Faye McNeill\, Ronica Ridley-Martin\, and Theresa\nTa
 ylor.    All are invited to attend the reception on January 21\nfrom 2 t
 o 4 p.m. to meet the artists and learn from the stories these\ntalented ar
 tists have shared through their art.   Venue: CAMP\nRehoboth.
