DESCRIPTION:THE OIL STILL BLEEDS EXHIBIT open to the public through October
  23rd\nis a tribute to Delaware’s forgotten servicemen who were at Pearl
 \nHarbor on December 7 1941. The exhibit is designed around a 650-pound\nr
 elic from the Battleship USS ARIZONA\, which was sunk during the\nattack a
 nd still bleeds oil to the lagoon surface. The exhibit also\nfeatures two 
 large interactive touch screen to engage and educate\nvisitors about the P
 earl Harbor attack and the sinking of the Arizona.\nWith this exhibit\, th
 e Fort Miles Museum becomes one of the only\ninstitutions in the country w
 ith relics from the very beginning of\nWWII and from the precise end of th
 at conflict\, our cannon from the\nUSS MISSOURI beneath which the treaty w
 ith Japan was signed on\nSeptember 2nd 1945.\n\nThree years in its plannin
 g\, OIL STILL BLEEDS ushers in a new era for\nFort Miles\, during which it
 s museum will evolve into a world-class\nfacility\, celebrating the armed 
 service of Delaware men and women from\nthe earliest days of America to cu
