OktoBIRDfest

We've always enjoyed pairing great Delmarva birding experiences with our award-winning craft breweries. Now, we're combining the two into one fantastic fall event! Registration is open for our first OktoBIRDfest, which will be held October 18-20, 2019.

On Friday, October 18, we've planned itineraries in Delaware and Maryland to explore some of our favorite birding hotspots, including Bombay Hook NWR, Prime Hook NWR, Sunset Park in Ocean City, and Newport Farms near Berlin, MD. Late afternoon Tally Rallies will be hosted at Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton and Burley Oak Brewery in Berlin.

On Saturday, October 19, guides will lead morning trips at Cape Henlopen State Park and the landings along Maryland's Chincoteague Bay. In the afternoon, we've chartered the Assateague Explorer pontoon boat to host an Autumn Shorebird Explorer trip behind Ocean City and Assateague Island, followed by a Tally Rally at M.R. Duck's on Talbot Street in OC.

On Sunday morning, October 20, we'll wrap up the weekend with guided trips along the Delaware Seashore and the bald cypress swamps near Snow Hill, MD.
