 n\nThe program is free and open to children 5-12 years of age.\n\nLearn ab
 out simple machines and the impact they have on our daily\nlives\, and at 
 sea. Children will learn about the 5 basic simple\nmachines\; wheel & axle
 \, pulley\, lever\, inclined plane\, and screw\, and\nhow they are used at
  home and on the lightship.  The Zwaanendael\nMuseum will demonstrate a b
 lock and tackle and how simple machines\,\nsuch as pullies\, were used on 
 18th century ships.\n
