DESCRIPTION:As a retreat destination for many regional Artists\, it is not
  \nsurprising that over the years\, the Art League has acquired works fro
 m\nmany of its patrons.  The League’s Permanent Collection houses over\
 na 1000 items in its five collections.  These works span original\nsketch
 es\, oil and watercolor paintings\, sculpture\, decorative art\, and\nhost
  of other creative works.  In addition to the art\, the League\nholds pho
 tographs\, video\, furnishings cultural archives from the early\nformation
  of art scene  in the Rehoboth Area. As part of the Rehoboth\nArt League
 ’s mission to Teach\, Inspire\, and Preserve\,  selected\nworks of art 
 from the League’s Permanent Collection are in need of\nrestoration.  As
  a result\, Preservation Matters was created where\nthese works are showca
 sed in the Dewitt Gallery as part of an\n“adoption effort” to raise mo
 ney for the restorative work. \nEstimates are generated by conservators a
 nd put on display next to the\nart in need of work.  We encourage patrons
  to donate the funds by\n“adopting” the work to cover restoration expe
 nses.  In return\,\nthe patron will receive recognition and a giclée rep
