DESCRIPTION:Red Sky Dawn was formed in 2019. John Judge\, DVJ & Bill Mojica
 \ncollectively left a prior cover band to form what is now Red Sky Dawn.\n
 Fred Helms was an amazing pick-up to help craft the sounds &\ntrajectory o
 f what is Red Sky Dawn. The culmination of experience\,\nexpertise in our 
 craft as well as intense passion for LIVE (never\ntracked) music\, put eac
 h of us in the right place\, right time. We are\nblessed to be the four-so
 me known as Red Sky Dawn. “DVJ” (Dawn Van\nJones) – Lead Vocals Dawn
  has been in the local cover band scene\nsince 2004 (Southern Comfort\, Im
 poster\, Radio Graffiti\, Shatners). DVJ\nhas played SunFest OC on two occ
 asions (2018 & 2019)\, fronting two\ndifferent cover bands. With an energe
 tic delivery and passion for the\nmeaning behind the lyrics\, her stage pr
 esence is 2nd to none. Younger\nyears\, she recorded backing vocals in Cal
 ifornia on various projects\,\nmoved to Maryland & took on the live scene 
 in 2004. John Judge -\nBass/Keys John has held down rhythm sections with d
 rummer Bill Mojica\nfor the past 20 years\, in a number of Annapolis-area 
 bands. JJ holds\ndegrees in engineering & music\, built a recording studio
  which served\nNYC venues in Greenwich Village (JJ presently resides in An
 napolis).\nFred Helms – Lead Guitar He is a proud US Air Force Veteran t
 urned\nfull time Musician and DJ. He began playing guitar at the age of 10
 .\nFred has played out professionally since ’88 in multiple states from\
 nMaryland\, the Florida Keys\, to Maui\, HI. Bill Mojica – Drums/Rhythm\
 n“Moj” is a 3rd-generation drummer. Acquired his first drum set at\nth
 e age of four. He studied at the prestigious Peabody Conservatory in\nBalt
 imore and played in the concert band at school. He continues to be\na stud
 ent of the percussive world. Moj has been fortunate to work with\na variet
 y of talented groups over the years including Rhythm Method\,\nLayers\, Th
 e Jokers\, Connections Band\, and The Shatners Over the last\nthree decade
 s. Venue: The Freeman Stage.
