SUMMARY:Unforgettable Fire: U2 Tribute
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:Unforgettable Fire\, or \"UF\"\, was born on New Years Day in 1
995 as one\nof the very first U2 tribute bands to ever perform in America.
After\ntwenty years of playing in some of the most prestigious venues on
the\nEast Coast\, UF has formed a reputation among many to be one of the\n
closest experiences to being at an actual live U2 show. The members of\nUF
are also very dedicated fans of U2\, and will not settle for\nanything le
ss than complete authenticity. In addition to performing a\nvery impressiv
e array of U2 material from pre-Boy to the most recent\nSongs of Innocence
and beyond\, the band does everything in their power\n(from wardrobe to l
ighting) to recreate the live U2 concert setting\nfor their audiences. In
2015\, UF was invited to perform at The Cutting\nRoom in New York City for
  the 20th Anniversary Party for the U2 fan\nwebsite \"@U2.\" Not planned w
as the sudden and surprise appearance of\nboth The Edge and Adam Clayton\,
who showed up a little before 9:00 PM\nand played two songs with UF -- mu
ch to the shock and delight of\neveryone in the club. One of UF's last fou
nding members from 1995\,\ndrummer George (Larry) Levesanos\, still perfor
ms with the band. George\nis a veteran drummer on the New York City music
scene and has\nperformed in many other projects before forming UF. Joining
the band\nin the summer of 2001 was singer Tony (Bono) Russo. Over the ye
ars\,\nTony has brought UF to a new level of authenticity as he is regarde
 d\nas one of the country's top Bono look-a-likes. In late 2002\, bassist\n
Craig (Adam) Kiell added his top notch musicianship\, experience\, and\nst
age presence to the band and has been a crucial part of the solid\nrhythm
section ever since. Late 2004 brought Mick (Edge) Normoyle to\nthe band to
complete the last piece of its puzzle in its quest to have\nthe truest\,
most authentic live U2 sound. All four members of UF are\ntalented musicia
ns in their own right\, but together they are committed\nto bring their au
diences the best possible U2 show that they can\ndeliver. Venue: Milton Th
 eatre.
