DESCRIPTION:“My creating process typically requires a reasonable commitme
 nt of\ntime and observation. I prefer to understand and know something abo
 ut\nthe animals I choose to paint. Every piece in this show can be\naccomp
 anied by a short story about one of my experiences in the field\nand the i
 nspiration that led to the painting. In this work\, I strive\nto make pain
 tings that are interesting\, accurate\, colorful and most of\nall\, distin
 ctively mine. When people look at my work\, I hope it\nsomehow encourages 
 them to take a closer look and see the beauty of\nnature and wildlife as I
  do. For me\, the ability to draw and paint is\nan incredible gift that al
 lows me to communicate with people through\nmy art. Wildlife Art gives me 
 a way to express my fascination and\nappreciation for the natural world an
