avid hotel Millsboro - Georgetown South, an IHG Hotel

I have been to so many hotels, but this one beats them all with a perfect 5! Everything was exceptional — the room was spotless, the shower was amazing, and the overall cleanliness of the property truly stood out. The bed was so comfortable I honestly wished I could take it home with me 😂.

I also really appreciated the changing pad in the lobby bathroom, which made things so much easier while traveling with my infant. The lobby coffee and tea station was a nice touch, the hallways smelled fresh and clean, and the ice maker with containers was super convenient. The staff were kind and helpful throughout my stay.

This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, and I can’t wait to come back again!

A great, inexpensive choice for a comfortable hotel in the area I needed to stay in. The rooms were lovely- especially the beds!- and the breakfast was delicious, with more items than I anticipated. Very cute and cozy outdoor pool, very clean rooms. I will stay here again and would recommend it highly!

I've stayed here several times for work and it's now my preferred hotel in the region. The rooms are clean and pleasant, not on a highway or rail line or other source of noise. They have EV charging onsite which is a huge plus for me (and it works, unlike another IHG hotel that I picked specifically because they advertised EV but it was busted). All staff I've interacted with are pleasant and helpful, housekeeping, breakfast, front desk. I wish I could remember more names, but Jade was very kind when I came stumbling in at 1 am after a long drive and Heather has been at the front desk and bustling around the breakfast area several times I've been there, always quick with a funny comment.
