We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful valentines day dinner, the carefully crafted special menu for the evening had wonderful choices, and the entire experience was great.

The filet mignon was cooked, wonderfully and seasoned two perfection, the accompanying sides were paired beautifully.

The entire atmosphere of the venue has a wonderful feeling, and was very inviting for a wonderful night out.

My finace and I had the most amazing date night at Benvenuto! Our wonderful server made our first experience here a very memorable one. Between the ribeye and lobster tail, as well as delicious side dishes, the food was some of the best around!!! We had a lengthy conversation with the chef who is obviously very passionate about his work. 10/10 would recommend dining here! This was our first of many visits.

Oh how I would have loved giving 6 stars if possible, but it wasn't to be. The caesar salad was sooo fresh and delicious, it tasted like the romaine heart was just picked that hour. The breads dipped in olive oil and herbs, absolutely delicious. The coffee, wow, not many restaurants, even fine dining, can brew a magnificent cup of coffee. Mary, our server, was wonderful, service absolutely deserving of our 30% tip. All of this, brings me to the main meal, which we expected to be out of this world. How disappointed we were with the main meal, especially within view of the head chef, so we knew he was there. We've seen him on WBOC many times, and couldn't wait to have the experience of a great meal. We were not ready for the disappointment. I've never had fishy salmon. I couldn't eat it. I'm not one to make a scene. Took it home, tried to "fix" it. Ended up throwing it out. One friend had a delicious looking multi layered lasagna. Store purchased was probably better, was the comment. The sauce mediocre. The other friend thankfully loved the gnocchi. So one saved main meal and two disappointing main meals. We'd definitely go back for the appetizers, desserts and coffee. Too expensive to revisit a redo on another main meal. The atmosphere, lighting, ambiance excellent. My recommendation? Take a chance. Hopefully your main meal will be as spectacular as your appetizer, salad, dessert and coffee. Would have given the coffee, desserts and appetizers 5 stars, but we only took one star off because that is what saved our dinner evening. Sorry chef. We expected better.
