Bonkey's Ice Cream & Snoballs

Hands down the best homemade ice cream in the Bethany area! The owners are so friendly and the staff is always nice. There are a lot of affordable options and variety for kids. I love trying new flavors, but my favorite is toasted coconut. No toasted coconut? A classic peanut butter milkshake is the go to. And on the hottest days? A snoball is the most refreshing treat!!
As a DE local, I've tried a lot of ice cream up and down the shoreline, but Bonkey's can't be beat 😉

the ice cream is great here 100% of the time , but they have a young girl with bad acne & a bad attitude who wouldn’t give my nephew a cup of sprinkles because they were trying to get us out of line/finish ordering so fast she even almost managed to charge me for an extra cone of ice cream she thought i ordered & i had to make her refund me for, just plain bad customer service on her part. do better or fire her.

My family has tried almost every ice cream parlor in the Bethany Beach area and Bonkey's Best is the best. The ice cream itself is amazing, and the service is always fast even when they have a long line.

Only thing that takes this location off of perfect are the mosquitos in the evening, we always get eaten alive if we linger.
