Breakers Hotel & Suites

Great location walking distance from the beach and the main street. Complimentary breakfast and coffee was also good and hot. No cooked food all grab and go items but a great variety of options. Staff were very nice and friendly. Rooms are very old. Loud at night and not a cozy feeling. Rooms have fridge and microwave. Decent stay if you need a place to sleep but do not expect anything more.

It was a pretty pleasant stay, all things considered. Room seemed clean enough, not the best on space but also not claustrophobic. Walls were a bit thin, especially considering it was the pet friendly one. Good thing my dog doesn't bark a lot, but with all the knocking, car doors, etc, he definitely barked some and I was worried about bothering neighbors.

The only thing that was an actual negative, was that the shower seemed to be impacted by other rooms. The water would swing to freezing or scalding every 20-30 seconds. That was the only, truly, unpleasant part of my stay.

The staff was friendly, even jovial. The lady at the front was very courteous and informative. Tried to get breakfast one morning, I think around 9, and I saw some people eating hot food but I didn't see any being served. Overall, a fine couple of evenings.

Parking was pretty accommodating. Could be due to it being the off season for the beach, but it seemed like quite a few spaces and we didn't have to search for a spot.

We walked to the beach each day, it was only a few minutes away, so location was great. Accessibility was spot on for walking my dog right along the shops too, big plus. I wish a few more of those shops were pet friendly, but that's not on the hotel.

We had a wonderful time. This was an ideal location to bring our dogs. We were here to run the marathon. It's an ideal location to the start and finish lines. The rooms are quiet and clean and oh so comfortable. We will definitely come back here if the opportunity arises.
