Captain Mac's is delicious whether dining in, ordering take out, or buying from the fresh market. One of our favorites is the banging shrimp tacos, which are a little spicy. The sides are also delicious like the cucumber tomato salad or the homemade chips. Prices are reasonable, too. We highly recommend you stop by to grab fresh seafood or a bite to eat. This year r bought crab and made our own crabcakes... so good! There is a small dining room with outside seating where you can watch the wildlife. A small free parking lot is right at the restaurant, but be aware it fills up fast. Also, Captain Mac's, gets very busy around & at meal times. We always plan accordingly. Definitely a stop to add to you beach trip!

A delicious from the ocean meal that doesn’t feel touristy. As a visitor to Delaware, I didn’t want the “bells and whistles” that restaurants near Bethany that have over priced and over cooked seafood. Captain Mac’s exceeded my expectations! It was quick, delicious, and you get a lot for your price. It’s cooked from fresh! Plus the view from the outside deck is just gorgeous. Seeing the Osprey and their chicks- just sweet as can be.

Nice view and cold wine and beer; fried clams were tasty and tomato/cucumber salad was fresh; requested well-done fries but were not left in the fryer long enough. Had a nice selection of (raw) fresh fish for purchase (flounder, mahi-mahi, salmon and rockfish) to cook later. Tried the shrimp salad too. The only "negative" observation was their condiments. Arrived while staff was placing their 6-pack condiment container on each table including the tables outside (100 degrees outside). They were cold as they were stored in refrigeration overnight and then they sit out all day. Since it is ketchup, mustard and malt vinegar, guessing there may not be any issues with bacteria growing while stored in the cold and then sitting out all day. Fortunately, didn't need to use them. Try them out. You won't be disappointed.
