CEDAR land+ sea kitchen

This is a fabulous restaurant in our little town. I don’t normally write reviews, but wanted to counter the negative ones for Cedar. Tonight was our first time here, and to my surprise, the small place was packed! So, obviously popular. The atmosphere is casual, and a bit upscale. While not exquisite, the food and drinks are of excellent quality at reasonable prices. The owners clearly care about what they serve, and it was all delicious, from the fried green tomatoes with goat cheese, through the stuffed shrimp, Chesapeake chicken, then dessert. I especially appreciated that the entrees come with two sides: a carb and a perfectly cooked ample amount of fresh veggies. Nothing too salty or loaded with fats. This will be our go-to friendly restaurant with great food, from now on! One of the best restaurants in the Bethany Beach area, IMHO.

Great food!! Surprised by the quality of the seafood and pasta especially for being around Ocean View / Bethany Beach

Have eaten here twice now, both times solo at the bar, and I LOVE this place! VERY welcoming & friendly atmosphere. Jack the co-owner/bartender is kind, attentive, and efficient- and the food, both times, was out of this world. The spring salad w/jerk shrimp was exceptionally delicious- and the crab cakes were the best I’ve had around here. Prices are not out of line for such high quality food, so it may be only a once-month treat for me- but I WILL be back!!
