When I walked into the room, I was immediately hit with a heavy, overpowering cologne or air freshener smell. It was so strong that I had to struggle just to get the window open to air it out.
The bathroom hair dryer was broken, and multiple walls and surfaces were visibly dirty. The carpet felt unpleasant to walk on barefoot, and the room felt heavy with allergens. The sheets did not appear clean, which was concerning, and the bed itself was broken.
Beyond the room, multiple things throughout the hotel appeared to be in disrepair, including elevator buttons that were not functioning properly. The pool was also closed during my stay.
Check-in required three separate sheets of paperwork with multiple signatures, dates, and initials. It felt more like renting a car than checking into a hotel.
The continental breakfast was equally disappointing. The “hash browns” were actually tater tots and were very undercooked — pale and not even lightly browned. The sausage appeared steamed, and the bacon (or what resembled bacon) looked unappetizing enough that I didn’t touch it. There was a standard waffle iron station and cold cereal, along with very dense, carbohydrate-heavy muffins that tasted heavily processed.
I would recommend skipping the breakfast and going somewhere nearby instead. Overall, I’m relieved this stay is over.
Friendly front desk staff.
Beds are hard, pillows way too soft. Lighting isn't the greatest. Water pressure was awful. Either change the showerhead or check the plumbing. Breakfast was no great. Especially since the dining staff wiped everything, and I mean everything, with the same rag...then shook it in the trash. I was confused. She was all over the place, snappy and dropping stuff smh. What took the cake was her wiping off the WAFFLE IRON and waffle mix dispenser, with the same rag she used to wipe the countertops and tables. Totally gross. Needless to say, my appetite was gone.
Times have really changed and I feel that we spent too much to have a crappy stay.
