Situated along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal, the Dogfish INN acts as an off-centered basecamp for beer lovers and adventure seekers alike (like there’s a difference). The INN embraces modern style and convenience while celebrating a bygone era of family vacations, big cars and endless summers. Designed by Studio Tack in Brooklyn, N.Y., the INN features 16 rooms filled with thoughtful, beer-centric amenities and design elements. You'll find screen prints of beer labels from our music collaborations, as well as a treasure hunt of sorts created by local artist Steve Rogers. Somewhere in each room, you’ll find a different print of the historic Lightship Overfalls. A National Historic Landmark and one of only 17 lightships remaining, the Lightship Overfalls is docked just down the street in Canal Front Park. Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge and is stocked with curated snacks, plus, there's a free mini-growler that’s yours to keep so you can bring back your favorite brews from our brewery and brewpub. Retro American-made beach chairs and Apolis tote bags are ready for trips to the local beaches.

The cottage features a library curated by the renowned City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco. You can borrow or buy a beach read or a heavy hitter. At night, gather on the patio around the Cowboy Cauldron and count shooting stars with your friends and family. The next morning, enjoy complimentary Basecamp Blend coffee, a custom blend roasted by our friends at Rise Up. With all these thoughtful touches, it'd be tempting to stay inside. But to help guests get out and about, we've got bikes for guests to borrow, E-bikes available for rent, and we put together a treasure map highlighting local landmarks. With the kayak launch in Canal Front Park, the nearby Junction & Breakwater Trail, and Cape Henlopen State Park, the INN acts as a diving board to go deep into the beauty of coastal Delaware by bike, by hike, by paddleboard, by boat, by golly.

Fantastic experience. We stayed with two large dogs for the weekend. Our room had a doggie blanket for the bed. Dog treats and towels and a doggie mat for their bowls. The rooms were crisp and clean. We had a fantastic firepit every night. Fresh coffee every morning. The host was wonderful.

We loved spending the weekend here. It’s such a cute little hotel with a really excellent location; super close to downtown Lewes but also not too loud or much foot traffic in front of the hotel. It’s next to a beautiful neighborhood and right by the water. Staff were great and we loved the nightly bonfire in the yard. Highly recommend renting bikes or e-bikes (we had never used them before but had so much fun) and taking the lovely trail into rehobeth for the afternoon! Would love to come back and experience it in a different season, too!

Stayed for a weekend with my son. We’ve been staying in Rehoboth for many years and frequent Lewes often but never have had a chance to stay at Dogfish. This was my first visit and won’t be my last. I can’t wait to be back! The staff was very personable and attentive. The grounds, room and lobby were pristine. I love all the small details like the record player and the coffee in the lobby. The rooms are perfectly designed for maximum organization. Hooks where you need them, a nice counter by the window and plenty of space to sprawl out. Not to mention the location to the bike trail, downtown and the beach. It’s a whole vibe.
