On a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and Little Assawoman Bay, the park offers guarded ocean swimming in summer, with a bathhouse and snack bar. Surfing and surf fishing are allowed in designated ocean beaches and watercraft rentals are available on the bay. Open daily 8 a.m. to sunset. A lovely spot with plenty of parking and a quieter beach (as opposed to OCMD beaches). This is also a fantastic place to spend the evening and enjoy the sunset.

Nice beach. Its got two large lots. In season, I would get in before 10 as it will get crowded. Beachbis clean, there is a life guard and facilities. Even a cart with iced coffee depending on the time of season. Also has a wooden ramp to the beach.
