Freedom Boat Club

Love this club! I've owned a dozen or more boats and understand all the storage, winterization, and maintenance that comes with it (anybody out there enjoy bottom painting?). Seriously, I cant describe the feeling when I return the boat knowing its someone else's job to cover, clean it, and fill it with fuel. Also, I can take the boats out solo because there is always someone at the dock to catch the bow and tie it up. There was a fairly heafty one time sign on fee but compared to the 1st year depreciation of a new boat its really not that bad.

Joined a couple months ago. Very fun, great idea and well run. Staff are very helpful. We have an infant and they have taught us how to boat as a family and do things safe and properly. Not cheap and some restrictions but overall worth it to keep the collective costs of insurance etc. down.

The post of the previous reviewer is pure slander. That is totally wrong and not the case at all. The Freedom Boat Club is a fantastic group of people willing to help and support their members in any way possible. We have learned how to drive, dock, and enjoy our times out on beautiful brand new boats that make us feel like we are being spoiled to death! We have enjoyed every minute of our experience, boating every weekend, and meeting and hanging out with a bunch of wonderful caring people. If you love water, boats, fishing, friends, and the nature of the Delmarva, please do yourself a favor and check it out! You won't be disappointed! Joining the Freedom Boat Club in Delaware has changed our life!
