Cute little campsite, mostly kid friendly. However the site says the offer firewood, they do not. The bath houses frequently had clogged toilets that took hours for the camp staff to get to. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but it did have its issues.

Stayed in the 4 person cabin for two nights. There were several issues at this campground that we ran into. One of my main issues was related to the entry code to get into the campground via the front gate. We were given a code with check in on Wednesday. Code worked fine Wednesday. Thursday we left for the beach and boardwalk all day getting home around 830 pm on Thursday only to find our code no longer worked and the office is closed. Thankfully I had a sibling staying in the campground that notified me of the new code or we would have been locked out of the campground. When I brought this to the attention of the owner snd manager they initially offered and apology and I told them it was unacceptable practice to change the code without notifying guests. Then the owner seemed to think it was my responsibility to contact the after hours number to get a new code. I cited things such as what if I had a dead cell phone and just simply a courtesy knowing that guests would be confused and unable to obtain access to the campground. I was met with disdain and felt that I was blamed for being locked out as they asked me if I didn’t know how to work a phone. This interaction was appalling and it was unacceptable the way the owner was speaking to me. There were a few other issues as well. Upon arrival there was no ice to be bought from the camp store. They were out of stock on a Wednesday. Not a deal breaker but I found it odd. The bathrooms are tiny, dated ,and dirty. They advertise they have ADA accessible cabins so people with disabilities can enjoy the camping experience but they forget to mention the showers and bathrooms stalls are not ADA as they are too small to get a wheelchair into or even to safely use a walker to utilize the toilets or showers. There were mice in the bathrooms as well. Although posted quiet hours were 11pm there was huge spotlights allowed to be lit well into the early hours of the morning. Some of the cabins have safety railing that are broken and dangerous if you would lean on them. I saw caving with tarp on the roofs as well so instead of fixing leaks they are just throwing tarps up. It just looks trashy and adds to the overall rundown feel of the campground. Due to our negative experience at this campground we will not be returning.

Love it here, its been a family vacation spot for decades but they dont have the same care for the site anymore. And the animals are all not taken care of, they have deer in the petting zoo and its so crowded I feel bad for them. They keep raising the prices but they just get more apathetic
