Hotel Dewey

We were visiting family in Ocean View and the AC broke. It’s 100 degrees today. Two of us and a dog had to find a room same-day that is pet friendly and won’t break the bank. I called the hotel directly and spoke to a real human (Neicey) and she hooked us up with the very last room available and allowed us to check in early! The entire process took 3 minutes over the phone - Neicey was efficient and above all SO KIND! The room is everything we need and CLEAN. AC is COLD. Linens are CRISP WHITE. We are across the street from the beach. We are right in the middle of all the nightlife Dewey has to offer. This was the best kind of wrench in our plans ever! So grateful for Neicey and Hotel Dewey!

The great place to sleep. No amenities but the beds are comfortable. Air conditioner works great.It's quite loud, but it drowns out the sound of the street. It's not fancy but it's comfortable.

It is affordable and just what we needed- a simple room for a few nights. We stayed off season. Two comfy double beds. Clean enough, not immaculate. There’s a mini kitchen- microwave, stove burner, coffee pot(we didn’t use them), a mini fridge. No dishes or pots or anything if you want to cook, iron, ironing board. Comfortable beds, Small table with 2 chairs. Nice bathroom, hairdryer. The air conditioner cooled well(but vents were dirty and buttons worn off) Small balcony with 2 chairs (unfortunately, our view was just the back of other buildings). My only complaint is there’s a bar next door and another nearby, playing loud music well past 11pm so it can be hard to sleep. It’s definitely not quiet. I can’t imagine the noise during the busy summer months.we could also hear people walking above us. Easy/free parking lot, a short walk to the beach, some shops and restaurants. A Short drive to outlet shopping. Great location/Best thing- it’s dog friendly!! Recommended if you just want a simple place near the beach, nothing fancy.
