Lewes Brewing Company

Great brewery right off the bike path in Lewes- centrally located for either the Lewes Georgetown trail or the Junction and Breakwater trail.
They have plenty of bike racks and tons of outdoor seating. Plus, the main building has glass garage doors that open on three sides to create a breezy indoor/ourdoor vibe.
The beers I had were solid- which is a great sign as usually there is a ramp-up period for new breweries.
My favorites were the English Pub ale and the Euphoric Pineapple Hazy.
If you haven't visited Lewes Brewing Company yet, make it a priority.
The staff was welcoming, and the facilities were top-notch. They didn't have food options other than packaged snacks when I visited, but there was a food truck, and you can definitely bring your own picnic.
They also have wine for the non-beer crowd.
Can't wait to return!

As much as I enjoyed the beers here, I want to first comment about the facility. Whoever designed this place did an excellent job. Overall, the look is fresh and modern while maintaining a classy, rugged look. The choice of colors and building materials complements the appeal and cozy ambiance it provides. There's a wide range of places to sit, each with its own unique character. Excellent views from the back of the building and garage doors pulled up on two sides to enjoy the weather with uninterrupted views. Even the bathrooms are attractive!

They have many bike racks and clearly are looking to draw in the folks riding on the bike trail that literally passes beside the building. I've seen some reviews speak about inadequate parking. While it's true they only have about 12 spots on site, there is plenty of parking available on the road. If you feel like a short stroll, then the Lewes library/bicycle lots are always a possibility.

As for the beers, I tried eight of those offered on the day I was there including a sour, 2 hazy, a lager, a wheat and a stout. I thought all were well balanced and flavorful.

A food truck was parked there offering cheese steaks and other fare.

The staff was very friendly and inviting. I will definitely be bringing my friends here to enjoy all Lewes Brewing Company has to offer!

Just stopped in for the first time. They did an absolutely beautiful Job on the construction. I cannot wait to come back in the spring and enjoy the patio.

The bartender Cameron was very friendly and knowledgeable. I got the Raspberry sour and my partner enjoyed a stout. Both were good. We will definitely be back!
