Cute little restaurant with a small dining room and fresh decor. Prices were a little steep for the portion sizes. Service was friendly but needed a little prompting.

We got the hot lobster rolls with butter and they were served with shredded lettuce between the lobster and the roll. I've never seen a lobster roll with shredded lettuce before. And there's a reason for it. The lettuce was limp and gross. The lobster meat had a high ratio of claw meat. The fries were a little chewy and tasted like the oil was a bit old.
We didn't think to ask what the price for the lobster roll was because the menu said market price. Most of the dishes were around $25. The lobster rolls were $34 each.

Overall (once the lettuce was removed from my lobster roll) the meal was still tasty. We would have given a higher rating if the prices were lower. For the price, we expected the quality of food to be better.

We were first timers at Matt's. We stopped for a quick lunch and it was delicious. The service was friendly and fast. We both had the warm lobster roll and the lobster was divine, bread warm toasted and buttery, served with more melted butter if you wanted.
