Matt's Fish Camp Fenwick

Yesterday, my family had lunch at this restaurant. The food was good, but unfortunately the service was very disappointing.

The waiter who served us, Boris, was kind, professional, and respectful. We truly appreciate his service.

However, the behavior of the hostess and several other staff members made us feel unwelcome. Their attitude toward us seemed noticeably different because we are not native English speakers, and the experience left us feeling disrespected. Every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of their language, background, or ethnicity.

We paid for our meal like every other customer, so we expected the same level of service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all guests are treated equally.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a welcoming smile! It's a bright, cheerful place and once seated, our server, Lori, was all happiness, knowledge of every item on the menu and you could tell she loved her job. Pricing is very reasonable and parking is available. Into the food....The clam chowder was the best we've ever had (yes, including Maine and Massachusetts), and is reason enough to return. The fish and chips were delicious. I personally tried 3 oysters from different locals, made the same way to learn the difference. I then moved on to the best steamers with a Parm cheese and peppers...never thought cheese goes with fish....wrong and a strawberry, burrata toast with greens....the peanut butter desert came home with us, along with my delicious wine....cannot wait to return later this summer!

Our family loved this restaurant! Everything was fresh and delicious, the service was friendly and fast and the portions were just right (not absurdly large). We will definitely be back!
