Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Milford

Stayed there Fourth of July weekend.
Rick was awesome. He accommodated my family’s scheduling buffoonery as we had cancellations, then they could come, then cancel again. Rick never hassled us and kept rearranging the bookings to accommodate. The hotel is clean and the rooms are really nice. Prices are also really good.

This is a cool hotel with an ecologically conscientious aesthetic.

The place is clean though there are signs of age on the carpets and on the walls and in the bathrooms. However, the rooms and pool are clean. The fitness room can use something other than dumbbells and two treadmills.

Our king bed made for a "tight" room but the window seat for reading and the bench were great touches.

Microtel is close to restaurants and is next store to a gas station and convenience store, which is perfect for travelers with a long drive after checkout.

Staff was extremely courteous and helpful! We were there for a soccer tournament during a very rainy weekend! Staff was handing out plastic bags to all players for them to put their wet uniforms in and staff was drying them for us!!! Soooo grateful for that extra kindness. Close to the soccer fields and found enough food choices nearby. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. I would definitely return here.
Now I do want to mention that the door to enter the room was extremely heavy to push open. Not sure why. So warning for anyone that won’t be able to push in a heavy metal door. Also breakfast was basic. Shower was clean and water was hot
