Quality Inn & Suites Georgetown - Seaford

Since there new GM(Janann Talent) has taken over this place has really been great. Very clean, staff is very friendly. I stay here often since she has taken over this place should be a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotel. Desk staff (Carla) also is great, very friendly and helpful. This review is about Quality Inn in Georgetown. I was so impressed I had to ask the names of the staff members.

As I was in need of a room for 2 nights I came across this place as a 3 star. Tru by Hilton was next door but a bit more $$$$. I chose for a cheaper one. My mistake!!!!. This is my first night. The smell in this room is too much. It's like they sprayed the whole room with this scent that is overwhelming and giving me a headache. I'm trying to cover my nose but it's too pungent. I don't think I can stay the second night. Also the people that hangout around the area are just hanging out in the parking lots.

On Day 2. If you want to come to a hotel Not to relax you should come here. The music has been blasting for hours and you here people out in the hallway having a great ol time. Very Loud here!!!!. You can also here others snore through walls as well. More addicts and homeless in the parking lot on day/night 2.
I mentioned the extremely loud music to the front desk.... all they said and did was shrug her shoulders and tell me it's only for a couple more hours. This is not a peaceful or relaxing hotel. Shame on this place

I knew what I was getting into staying here, but I did not realize Tru was across the street and I needed a place close to where I was here for.
The front desk was very nice and helpful, the front desk guy with a ponytail and glasses was very accommodating and very nice, cheers to him. That is the only good thing I can say about this place. Gross, smelly rooms. They had me sign a no smoking policy, which is fine for me since I don't smoke. The issue it in the rooms it wreaked of cigarettes and there were burnt holes in the sheets/bedding. Carpet is gross, everything looks dirty. The only reason I even decided to write this was because the morning kitchen staffed yelled at me for not seeing a sign that she didn't turn around so I didn't know was there and was filling up my 16oz water bottle DURING THEIR COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST. I wasn't filling up apple juice or orange juice, water... I stayed at this hotel all I wanted was some water, you don't need to be rude to me for not seeing a sign that she did not turn around... that was the last straw.
