The rooms are extremely run down. The couch had stains and the furniture had paint chips. The flat screen tv in the bedroom is similar to the one that Micheal has in “The Office” so it brought a good laugh.
The whole place does smell old. The bed and sheets passed were just fine. We stayed one night so that we could get to the beach early the next day.
The check in process was also easy. The staff is very friendly.
I was concerned about the state of the room based on the past reviews. (We brought an air mattress and sheets in case it was really bad, but didn’t use them).
The warm water only lasted about 5 minutes. The room did smell very old as well.

The floor was also extremely dirty. I let my one year old crawl around for a minute and his hands and feet were black.

The floors were filthy, the bathroom had a musty smell with grimy stains on the walls and floor, and there were holes in the walls.
I would bet that the amount of mold behind the shower is enough to condemn the building.
The pullout couch was covered in disgusting stains and infested with bed bugs.
While it was nice that the room provided had a kitchen - the silverware provided & fridge were dirty.
My husband, our two children, and I didn’t even stay the night.
We had to leave immediately to find another place to stay.
The individuals who were running the place overnight offered no refund or an upgraded room. They also claimed to not know what bed bugs were.
I spent over two days of our trip trying to reach someone - each time being told I'd be called whenever a manager was on site. I guess there is no one running this hotel besides the barely 18 year old employees staying in the house/ main office.
It has now been over a week since I initially requested a callback. AVOID THIS INN AT ALL COSTS.
Also for the "owner" responding to all of these posts, please give me a call back - your office has my phone number.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. Our experience at the Inn at Lewis was a complete disaster. The floors were filthy, and the bathroom had a musty smell with grimy stains on the walls and floor. The pullout couch was covered in disgusting stains and infested with bed bugs, making it uninhabitable. My wife, our two children, and I were so appalled that we didn’t even stay the night. We had to leave immediately to find another place to stay. The children who were running the place overnight offered no refund or an upgraded room, and despite two days of trying, I still haven’t received a returned phone call. I will be disputing the charges with PayPal. Avoid this inn at all costs.
